Guardian Home Care & Hospice strives to provide the highest quality of services. We coordinate our patients' care between our staff of professionals, the community, the family, health care entities, and the physician; focusing on quality care.
What is home care?
The concept behind home care revolves around keeping the patient at home, where they are most comfortable, and bringing the necessary care to them. "Care" can be defined as many things and therefore, we offer many different levels of care, from light housekeeping to physical therapy.
When would I or someone I know need home care?
- When you are having surgery and are planning to return home for recovery
- When a loved one needs assistance to remain independent at home
- When you need asistance while recovering from an illness or accident

Occupational Therapy
- Activities of daily living (ADL) retraining
- Bladder/bowel training
Speech Therapy
- Language and communication
- Assistance with speech; swallowing difficulty and eating issues
- Voice
Physical Therapy
- Walking and balance difficulties
- Bed mobility transfers, strengthening, and therapeutic exercises
- Assess home environment for possible need of medical equipment
- Improved motor activities
Social Services
- Financial/emotional counseling
- Community resource planning
- Death and dying counseling
- Rehabilitation counseling (stroke-spinal injuries, amputations, etc.)
- Long range planning and education
- Placement planning
